Business Courses at NULC

If you choose a business course at NULC, you’ll benefit from imaginative and motivational teaching, high quality learning resources and secure yourself a great start in your chosen career.

Preparation for employment

Our students get to visit leading businesses and even take part in a Dragon’s Den style competition each year called ‘Dragon’s Lair’. Our students go on to jobs including Accountancy, Retail and Management.

Progression to university

The majority of students from Level 3 Business courses progress to university or professional qualifications, such as AAT. Our students are able to visit Staffordshire University as part of their course. Last year around 78% of students progressed on to universities including Keele, Lancaster, MMU, Oxford Brookes and Staffordshire to study subjects such as Accounting, Business Management and Financial Management and Economics.

Contribution to the community

Last year our students organised a charity bag pack at Morrison’s Supermarket in Newcastle to help the Donna Louise Trust.
