Music Technology Courses at NULC

NULC's Music Technology Courses offer you the chance to benefit from imaginative and motivational teaching, high quality learning resources and secure yourself a great start in your chosen career.

Progression to university

The BTEC Extended Diploma in Music Technology is equivalent to 3 A Levels and can gain you access to higher education courses.

Preparation for employment

Employment opportunities are available in a wide range of prospective careers for example: sound engineers and music composers. There will be opportunities for educational trips and visits to studios, event venues and trade fairs.

Jack Seymour

Jack Seymour, aged 19 from Endon is in his second year studying a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology.

Jack said: “The Music Technology Suite at NULC is fantastic and gives you real ‘hands-on’ experience of how a music studio works. While studying the course I have been involved in a number of extra activities including visiting Music Live at the NEC and producing an 80s soundtrack for the Transform Salon and Spa launch event. After college I hope to study a degree in music at either the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts or one of other top music colleges in the country.”
