Salary: £28,307-£32,198 per annum
Newcastle-under-Lyme is a highly successful tertiary college based in North Staffordshire and is an outstanding, innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training. The College moved to a brand new campus in 2010 and as a result staff and students enjoy some of the best facilities to be found anywhere in the sector.
The Faculty of Foundation and Vocational Studies delivers apprenticeships and other work-based training in areas including Early Years, Health & Social Care and Sport.
The Faculty is committed to increasing its offer to business both in terms of apprenticeships and employer funded bespoke training programmes. Some areas of the Faculty have developed further than others, but we are now seeking a manager to drive forward employer facing work in all areas of the Faculty.
To be successful in this post you should have significant post-qualification experience in a relevant sector and a proven track record of motivating and leading people to achieve excellence. In addition, you should have a clear understanding of the needs and priorities of employers as well as the drive and enthusiasm necessary to rapidly expand the current provision and develop into new curriculum areas.
