You'll be based in our bespoke Higher Education Centre at our brand new £60 million campus on Knutton Lane. The new Centre has been built thanks to a generous £520,000 grant from Staffordshire University and will enable us to continue our reputation for excellent teaching in state-of-the-art facility.

You will benefit from the full support of our team of Learner Managers, Confidential Counsellors and Student Finance Advisors (located in our Learner Services area). Our experts will be happy to help with personal issues, course-related issues and student finance matters.

You will also get the chance to stand as a Mature Student Officer for the Students' Union which means you can represent the needs and views of over 5,000 adult students enrolled at the College.

Our main Learning Resources Centre (known as the LRC) provides a wide range of resources to support your information, study and IT needs. It contains over 130 computers, 18,000 books, videos, magazines, newspapers and CD-ROMs. There is also a Careers Advice Centre where you can get help with university applications and support from our friendly and experienced Careers Advisor.

If you have a disability, sensory impairment or learning difficulty

Students who are applying for a University-level course may be eligible to make a claim for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). The DSA helps to pay for extra costs you may have to pay when studying your course, as a direct result of your disability or specific learning difficulty. The allowances can help with the cost of a non-medical personal helper, items of specialist equipment, travel and other course-related costs.

If you feel that Additional Learning Support would be of benefit to you during your studies it is essential that you apply for DSA as soon as possible. Contact Denise Dunn on 01782 254249 or email ALS@nulc.ac.uk for details.
