TEAM:NULC
The College runs a number of successful sports teams that play within British Colleges Sports (BCS) competitive leagues within the West Midlands.
All sports represented by the College have the opportunity to progress to a regional final held at Lilleshall Sports Centre in Shropshire, and if successful, through to the national finals at Loughborough University.
BCS also run national representative squads and teams in many sports and take part in international events and competitions. As well as the National Championships they run national teams in football, women’s hockey and rugby and national cup competitions in football, women’s hockey, rugby and mixed volleyball.
Sports that the College is currently represented in are:
- Football
- Volleyball
- Netball
- Badminton
- Table Tennis
- Rugby
- Basketball
More sports will be included as the sports enrichment programmes develop throughout the academic year.
All of the sports are played on a Wednesday afternoon and include travel to other West Midlands colleges. You can view the latest results here.
