“Oh yes they are!” Students prepared for the launch of first ever Christmas pantomime.

Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) are delighted to announce that their first ever festive pantomime, Aladdin & His Magic Lamp will launch in their brand new £5.5 million Performing Arts Centre, this December.
With glitzy costumes, brilliant sing-a-longs, hilarious characters and audience participation aplenty, Aladdin & His Magic Lamp promises to delight audiences of all ages and is the perfect family treat. Taking place on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December, the pantomime will feature NULC students studying Musical Theatre, Acting and Dance, with technical support provided by students studying Music Technology and Technical Theatre.
Tina McDonald, Performing Arts Centre Manager said: “It’s extremely exciting for us to be putting on our first ever pantomime here at Newcastle-under-Lyme College. The students have been really getting into the festive spirit, working hard, learning lines and routines to ensure that this is a fun filled performance for all the family.”
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from the box office on 01782 254800 or directly from our Performing Arts Centre reception. Performances will take place at 19:00 with doors opening from 18:30. Adult tickets are priced at just £5 and concessions at £2.50.

The NULC Performing Arts Centre is a new £5.5million investment to provide state-of-the-art facilities to students wishing to study performing arts, dance and music technology in the local area. Fitted with a 200 hundred seat theatre, recording studio and outdoor performance area, the centre aims to offer students courses from entry to university level as well as providing a local community venue.
